Filipino artist undertook residency at Manukau Institute of Technology

AUCKLAND, Grand Harbour Chinese Restaurant - It was an affair attended by the dignitaries from different countries and some New Zealand MPs on 18 August 2005 - among them are the ambassador of Japan, the Consul General of Korea, Indonesia, China, representative from the Thai Embassy and other personalities. The Filipino Community was represented by our Federation of Filipino President Dr. Tony Noblejas and Mrs. Cora Noblejas.

 

Among the NZ Members of Parliament presents were Lynne Pillay MP for Waitakere, Hon. Bernie Ogilvy MP- Future, Hon. Richard Worth MP for Epsom, ex-Mayor John Banks, Ex-Act Leader Hon. Richard Prebble and many more.

 

Our very own Rita Jacinto provided the entertainment with her song performancewhich gave a very good impression to the AKA members and guest. A delicious Chinese Dinner Banquet was serve to our delight.

 

AKA’s goal is: to promote New Zealand Kiwiness, to promote Asian Cultural Heritage and to promote New Zealand Culture, educational and sporting community.

 

Everyone is encouraged to be a member of AKA, as it is - AKA FOR ALL ASIANS, AKA FOR NZ.
